Grades 7-8
We recognize that the middle school years are filled with transition and maturation. Under the guidance of small classes and highly qualified teachers, our students are prepared to face the rigors of learning within and across subjects. Careful assessment of incoming students leads to the development of a course schedule that can provide for both desired challenges and necessary remediation.
academics
Our students gain critical thinking skills and a deep knowledge base that is needed to work with complex texts across subjects. A low teacher-to-student ratio ensures that a balance of challenging curriculum and remediation can be implemented as needed.
electives
Students are offered a variety of electives including Outdoor Education, Woodshop, Film Production, Digital Animation, Technology Student Association (TSA), Arts, Music, Home Economics, Career Exploration, and Animal Studies.
extra-curricular
Social life is essential during the middle school years. Extracurricular activities, Student Government, clubs, House competitions, and social events provide a comprehensive, whole-student approach to academic and social success.
